#10: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Nov 27, 2010
I have solved most of your puzzles. I don't spend a lot of time on very large puzzles (I hate to scroll back and forth), and I believe that your's aren't very big. Thanks for the puzzles.
#11: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Nov 27, 2010
mootpoint an easier way to know how many have solved your puzzles is to hover your mouse over any puzzle and when the menu pops up click view information and it will tell you exactly how many people have solved it
#12: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Nov 27, 2010
bugaboo. How do you know all this? You should teach a seminar. What is the best way to go back to a puzzle you have solved to see a response to a comment like this?
#13: Andee (AndeeRC) on Nov 27, 2010
HI

#23: Liz P (lizteach) on Nov 28, 2010
I enjoy solving your puzzles, Brian. You've posted a few really challenging ones, and while I enjoy bigger puzzles with great images, my favorites are probably the challenging smaller puzzles.
#24: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Nov 28, 2010
Liz,,, wat no wcp this time?
#25: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Nov 28, 2010
First time solver...I like the 20X20 or smaller also...and I saw you had lots of comments so I tried you...good. I like ones with a twist, either in the final image or a good play on words. I like to be kept guessing if I'm right...or if I'm wrong, what it actually is...I especially love it when I'm wrong and I finally realize it's a great pun or twist...makes me grin every time!
#26: Billie Patterson (bpat) on Nov 28, 2010
I solve almost all of your puzzles. I try to rate each puzzle I solve, but don't always add comments.
#27: Cindy L. Hadden (quiltergirl) on Nov 28, 2010
I'm all over puzzles that will fit on the laptop screen without scrolling!

Interesting idea, and surprising how many more comments you got. Well I guess it's not actually that surprising. It is interesting though!

I'm number 51!
#52: Cynthia Lynn McDaniel (mcaardva) on Dec 1, 2010
Hi! I'll solve anything small enough to fit my screen that doesn't require guessing. I especially like 20 X 20 or smaller because I have a VERY short attention span! Thanks for your puzzles!
#53: Arleigh Baker (ailurophile715) on Dec 2, 2010
Hello! Ditto #52 :)
#54: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 2, 2010
Like bugaboo, I thought it was common knowledge to see how many people have solved a puzzle. But this is fun to see WHO has solved this one, especially the names we don't often see in the comments.

Puzzle creators usually enjoy reading comments on their puzzles, so if you solvers have any thoughts upon completing one, please share. We all love to have our ego stroked with the positive comments, and some of us even welcome the constructive criticisms. :-)
#55: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Dec 3, 2010
and iffin you want to hug me...that'll work also :)

Thank you very much.
#72: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 2, 2011
I found this puzzle by clicking on the "comments" link on the New Puzzles page. With 74 comments, this was the 6th on the results page (for me).

Looking up the puzzles of yours that I've solved showed that this is the 55th. Out of 1869 solved, that's nearly 3% of my total.
#73: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Mar 2, 2011
I've made almost 250 puzzles here since the 15 months I've been at it. No great works of art but I think my puzzles fill a niche.
#74: Elizabeth Staarmann (maureren) on Mar 11, 2011
I solve your puzzles too.
#75: Alicia Snyder (prinny) on Apr 14, 2011
Your puzzles fill a niche for me.
#76: Jan Wolter (jan) on May 6, 2011
I occasionally search for puzzles with a lot of comments and check out what the hoopla is about.

I think puzzle designers underestimate the popularity of small puzzles. They get solved by a LOT more people than big puzzles, but because so many people do them (and because doing good small puzzles is difficult) they tend to get low ratings, which makes puzzle designers think they are unloved.

I rarely have time for big puzzles any more.
#77: Marg denis (Mdenis) on Feb 29, 2012
Hi
#78: marlouche (marlouche) on Mar 4, 2012
Like your puzzles very much, and I am always so curious to see your next one, I forget to give respons to you.
I solve it random. Always surprised who comes next, and you are one of my favorites!
Keep going!
#79: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Mar 4, 2012
That is sweet of you to say Marlouche. Thank you. There are a lot of great puzzle makers here.

#93: Marsha Rolle (marsharolle) on Feb 18, 2018
I found this site years after you all created these puzzles, but in case you still check, thank you. I really enjoy these
#94: Virginia Greenbaltt (vgreenblatt) on Sep 15, 2018
Fair request.
I've had an addiction to paint-by-number puzzles started by Games Magazine many, many years ago. Your recent series of vegetable puns blew me away with the simple elegance of design and friendly humor. I decided to look back at what you've done. Yowie, a week later I'm only up to 2010. Lotta puzzles... thanks for all the entertainment!
#95: Meg Smith (mamadragonfreak) on Oct 2, 2019
solve 20x20 and smaller when i have nothing else to do at work. yes, at work
#96: Belita (belita) on Jul 11, 2021
I've been hitting the "random puzzles" and came across this one. I rarely look for a specific creator, but I know I've solved a lot of yours.
#97: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 12, 2021
he's awfully prolific :)
#98: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jul 12, 2021
At first, I was just solving puzzles. I was quite happy. Then thought I'll try to make one. Here I am with over 2000 puzzles that have my name on them.
#99: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Jul 13, 2021
Hello mootpoint. Your puzzles rock! I wish I had the courtesy to rate and comment on every puzzle I solve, but I usually don't. I do try to make a point of giving out high ratings when they're deserved, but I often neglect even that simple task.

And I am SERIOUSLY addicted to this site.
#100: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 13, 2021
Comment #100!!!!!!!!!!!!

This discussion page officially has at least 100 comments. So glad I could contribute. ^-^ Is there a puzzle out there with more?
#101: Gator (gator) on Jul 13, 2021
2 puzzles (you can search by number of comments).
#102: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jul 15, 2021
I solved it. Cute puzzle!!
#103: Martha Valdés (maval) on Jan 17, 2022
One more comment, just because you asked for it.
I usually don't make comments and I think most solvers don´t make comments. This puzzle information says: Players: 939 (432 completed). And there are only 103 comments.
By the way, thank you for all your puzzles.
#104: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jan 17, 2022
Thank you Martha
#105: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Jan 18, 2022
Is this a record for number of comments?

Brian, I don't say it enough - your puzzles are fantastic, and obviously take a level of commitment that is stupendous.

So, THANK YOU, and keep 'em coming!
#106: Koreen (mom24plus) on Jan 18, 2022
When I first joined, I sought out the hardest, largest puzzles because I needed the challenge. Now, I like all sizes and challenge levels! I'm willing to try any unknown puzzler, but I do have my faves. I also sometimes check the comments or ratings to decide if a new puzzle is worth my time.
#107: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jan 19, 2022
@Bill in 105: this was the third most comments on a puzzle until I made this comment. Now it is tied for second.

First has 163 comments as of now, but it was a rather rancorous "discussion" of religious views.
#108: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Jan 19, 2022
Solid second! Leaving a comment per the creator's request, but also because I'd like to support the idea of a thread that has no such rancorous "discussion" making it to #1! :)
#109: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jan 19, 2022
Then I'll add a safe but totally valueless comment for bulk. And I'll post it twice pretending the second is an accident.

You read this twice, didn't you?
#110: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jan 19, 2022
