Working older puzzles and came across this one. It hit home. Being a retired teacher for three years the NCLB was the most ridiculous thing that even went through education. How can anyone assume that all students will read on grade level by 2014? When it didn't happen, instead of saying it was an unreachable thing, they said that teachers jobs would depend on the outcome of how the students scored.
