line/color logic until the last bit of black at the end#2: Janet (jltho) on Nov 12, 2011
look at rows 7/8 which have a 3 and a 4 (respectively) left to finish
the both cant go to the left in c19 (which only has a "1" left in it) and they both cant go to the right in c22 for the same reason that it only has a "1" left in it so the 1 clue in c19 goes in either r7 or r8 and you can dot the rest of that column
after that i am not sure if any way of solving the rest was 2 or if was 3 moves look ahead
I knew those few pixels were a problem but it was fairly easy otherwise. If there was yellow...I'd do a background!#3: Emily Davies (scaramoucheEm) on Nov 12, 2011 [HINT]
Cute puzzle! Is that the name of the horse or does it just have old chipping paint?#4: Janet (jltho) on Nov 12, 2011
Or both?!#5: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 12, 2011
very nice image Janet.:)#6: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Nov 12, 2011
Sweet :)#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 12, 2011
What a cool puzzle, Janet. The solve was challenging with having to look several moves ahead, but it wasn't too hard to do, very enjoyable. Clever title too. :-)#8: Avgvstvs (Avgvstvs) on Nov 12, 2011 [HINT]
No guessing. And didn't require me to look any moves ahead, just regular line logic.#9: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Dec 5, 2011
Found to be logically solvable by gator.#10: Gator (gator) on Dec 5, 2011 [HINT]
Continuing what bugaboo was saying, if the 4 clue is completed with R8C22-R8C23, then looking one move ahead, R8C18-R8C19 are dots, but so are R9C22 and R9C23. Looking one more move ahead, row 9 says R9C18 is black and column 18 says R9C18 is a dot which is a contradiction. So R8C23 has to be a dot.
The rest was line logic.
Avgvstvs - this one did require some advanced logic to finish.
