Well I didn't have the skill to do a half red rose and a paintbrush. It really does look like a church key now that you mention it though.

Here I'm waiting for a World Series theme, and how you'd connect Texas to roses (little yellow rose of...?).

Haha, I knew it would be an Alice theme when I saw the title. Very original idea! I liked this puzzle a lot.
