excellent work
but how many guys complain when the seat gets left down?
haha

:-) thanks bugaboo. this was a constant battle in our house when i was little. i grew up with five males (dad and four brothers). there is no pain like suddenly sitting in cold toilet water in the middle of the night. aaagghhh!!!

That is exactly why we girls have the right to complain about the seat being left up! I work with mostly men and am still constantly battling with them to put the seat down in MY locker room. My husband would never leave the seat up. He puts the seat down - I don't use his razor to shave my legs! Great puzzle, great detail!

Thank you, Diana. Wow - same situation as me :-). I have to admit, though - growing up with four brothers was a riot!

a lot of football on tv and guy stuff in the house now? i don't believe this - we had three girls, too! i was the second oldest of all us kids so i had a little clout by the time the rest of them came along. :-)
#13: Diana W (aeris) on Aug 17, 2010
Wow... are you sure you aren't secretly my sister under another username? We are at least sisters at heart, since we've both suffered under football on tv, rapidly emptying fridges and clouds of testosterone. I'm only the third oldest, so I had to fight for any clout I had. :)
#14: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Aug 17, 2010
i like that - from here on in we'll be sisters at heart!
:-) speaking of rapidly emptying fridges - my brothers could eat us out of house and home. once my mom baked two huge chickens for dinner and then she and i went to get a bottle of wine. only a block away, mind you. when we got back about 10 minutes later, one whole chicken was gone (stripped to the bones), and there was only half of the other one left! as for the "clouds of testosterone"... remember when bruce lee was huge in the 70's? well, my brothers all decided they knew martial arts. so here came the nunchuks, and head bands (not to mention broken vases and holes in the walls)...i'm sure you have similar stories of your own!

Teresa - WOW! SIX brothers and three sisters. Now you're my sister at heart, too! Toilet cleaning was my assigned job in the family. To this day I absolutely HATE the smell of Spic N Span :-( I was the oldest girl, too and mother's helper. And, like you, I took a lot of teasing - I can't count the number of times one of my brothers tried to scare me with bugs and snakes and the like!

thanks for the comment, telly - you have a great system in your household. it's great when everyone can cooperate. i'm starting to think my brothers left the lid up on purpose...

If everyone just left the seat up when they were done, wouldn't there never be an issue? ...I'm just sayin'
#20: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on May 10, 2012
Ahh, Clay...sweet Clay. You've never gotten up in the middle of the night with an urgent need to pee, rushed into the bathroom (usually sans glasses and with no time to turn on the light), sat down, then fallen in with a *plop!*
