Puzzle Description:

A rendition of a black and white photo of me and my dad, circa August 1967 (I was a few months old). Dad passed away almost a year ago on August 8, 2009. He was a fabulous guy, and I miss him so.

That's my dad's obit, but he was so much more than that. I have a couple of friends out at ComicCon right now, and I think of him when I see their FaceBook posts..he was a comic collector, and he loved to read, and he loved life in general, and I'm missing him recently. :(

Thanks, Bug. I had to go through a ton of b and w pictures after he died, and I've wanted to do one of my dad for a while, and now that we're coming up on the one-year anniversary of his death, I finally felt ready to share my favorite picture of him and me. It's sad, but lovely, you know? :)

Beautiful puzzle! Sorry about your dad - it makes me think about mine but I am lucky that he is still alive. May you find the strength you need to get past the upcoming anniversary.
