Very realistic skunk. As soon as I knew what it was I could almost smell it. We have a big problem with skunks eating the turtle eggs around here.

Nice puzzle, but I was actually hoping it would turn out to be a bottle of vodka. I'm in the mood for a bloody Mary.

Good puzzle David, better idea Trish.

Very fun to solve and a really nice image.

He/she's adorable! I was also expecting vodka...but this was a nice surprise!

Glad you all liked him...even if he wasn't 90 proof.

Wonderful, fun solve and great image, even though I didn't know what it was till I read your description, then it just jumped out at me :) But I didn't smell a thing :D

Thanks. Glad the odor wasn't too bad...one of the advantages to not doing these puzzles after they are freshly made.

Iodine also works well to neutralize skunk stink. And when my dog decided to tangle with a skunk, I learned that fresh spray smells *very* different than skunk-hit-by-a-car stink.

So maybe it is just that the color red is a neutralizer?
#12: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Nov 20, 2012
Apparently, tomato juice just masks the smell and doesn't truly remove it (if the interwebs are to be believed)
#13: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Aug 1, 2016
I can smell it from here.

We have some skunks in our area, last year I saw a mother with 3 small babies in our yard. They are very cute from a safe distance.
#15: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 5, 2018
They are! You can also remove their scent glands, and keep them as pets, like a ferret.
#16: Stephanie Walker (callmeseverus) on Aug 24, 2019
This is so cute!

We had a family of skunks under our front porch until recently. There were about five little ones following mom around. They had to be dealt with, but I'll tell you this: they were stinkin' cute.

HahaHAha :D

Too funny, Harry.

A: A stunk

for kids: There were two little skunks named In and Out, and they went out to play. Later Out returned alone. "Where's In?" asked his mom. "I don't know. He's lost I looked everywhere but can't find him!" Out cried. Momma skunk ran out and came back a minute later with In. "How did you find him so fast, Momma?"

"In stinked."
