Awesome puzzle, David. I used as much inner edge logic as I could, and still had to guess, based on where the spots on the ball should be. Really nice image!

Thanks. There is definitely some inner edge logic needed, but I don't think guessing is required. Column 12 especially if I remember right. I'll rework it again if enough people feel guessing was required?

Jan: again we need your ruling on the guessing part.

incredible image and great logical solve
simple edge logic in a couple of places internally was all that i needed
i actually solved the hand last and the ball right before that

one question tho
what is the black dot in row 45 column 12 supposed to be...
the bottom of his ear?

Jan, Gator please help with solvability.
#15: Gator (Gator) on Jun 22, 2010 [HINT]
I used two-way logic around the 2 clue in row 29. This let us dot most of row 28. I also used internal edge logic on the 4 clue in column 12 to dot out R4C12 and R5C12. After some more line logic, I used edge logic again on the 4 clue in column 12 to see that it could not go in R8C12-R11C12.

I then used two-way logic with the 3 clue in row 5. I doesn't matter if R5C4 or R5C7 finishes out the 3 clue, R7C4 will be black and R7C7 will be a dot.

The rest finishes normally from there.

Good image. It would have been more fun to solve if it was set up in landscape mode as opposed to portrait mode.
