Puzzle Description:

I've started seeing potential puzzles everywhere...like yesterday at my (United Methodist) Church.

Imagining puzzles is a lot more useful than any other reason for being in church.

Okay, that comment out of the way, I was raised Methodist, so saw this symbol a lot. For a religious symbol, it was always one of my favorites. The plain cross was boring; the crucifix, grotesque. This was actually a pleasure to look at.

While still a member as a kid, I hooked a rug with the logo. A bit boring to create, what with the large blocks of identical colors, but it looked quite nice when I finished. It hung in the sanctuary for several years, until the church turned to more formal decor. I had left the church by that time, so didn't care, but my sister, still an active member, tells me they still have it somewhere. Nice to know.

Nice puzzle. I recognized it right away, as I see it every Sunday! :-)

Now that you are seeing puzzles everywhere, I look forward to solving more of your puzzles. Yippee!!!

I think the Methodists have the most elegant "logo"

agreed, that's what i based my decision on ;)

Gotta chime in here since my daughter is a Methodist minister. I recognized it immediately as soon as I realized all the black was a cross. Nice rendering of the flame.
