I use this animated gif image in some of my trainings on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders to demonstrate an example of frontal lobe dysfunction, with the inability to predict the consequences of an action:#2: Francie (eicnarf) on Apr 14, 2010 [SPOILER]

Cute dog, but I don't see how this is logically solvable. I had to assume that the black outlined the green, otherwise there's too much white space. Please correct me if i'm wrong.#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 16, 2010 [HINT]
No need to assume anything. :-) The checker says it's solvable by regular logic. I admit I did get stuck at one point, about 3/4 done, and had to really look to find a contradiction that only looked one step ahead, in the upper center area, if that's any help.#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 16, 2010 [HINT]
Okay, I went back and tried it again and captured an image of where I got stuck, after doing as much line and color logic as I could:#9: Sydnee Sherman (syd) on Apr 16, 2010 [HINT]

In C27, the 2 can be completed in either R3 or R5 (shaded squares). Either way, looking at those two possibilities in C26, you know you can put dots in C26 from R10 through R13. Then it finishes up nicely.
Thanks for the screen-shot (and taking the time to solve this puzzle again.) This is where I got stuck as well. I do still disagree with your logic.#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 17, 2010 [HINT]
If the 2 is completed in R5, then the pixel placed in C26 could be either 2 or 1 and therefore doesn't rule out R10 thru R13 in C26.
On the image I posted, the only thing left for C26 is placement of the 2, which cannot go any lower than R6.#11: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Apr 17, 2010
she is right syd#12: Sydney Sherman (syd.) on Apr 17, 2010
You are completely right. I was so dumb!#13: Sydnee Sherman (syd) on Apr 17, 2010
F-U ADAM!!!#14: Gator (Gator) on Apr 18, 2010 [HINT]
No need to get to the contradiction logic. R12C25 and R13C25 have to be dots with line logic from looking at the picture you posted.#15: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 18, 2010
Thanks, Gator.#16: Jane Doe (telly) on May 1, 2010
