At first I thought the picture would have no details, just 'clumsy' black pixels trying to form faces...
Then it popped, and I was amazed by the shading of the complete picture, wonderful!

#21: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Mar 17, 2023 [HINT] [SPOILER]
I'm so glad this came up in the random dailies. The dots that seem to be missing on the right side of the left face (I forget who is Laurel and who is Hardy) in fact add to the perspective once it's done and make the puzzle more interesting.

I was thinking about an "another fine mess" joke but this is all fine and no mess.

Someone noted Josh doesn't/didn't respond to comments in his other puzzles and I don't recall finishing one of his, so I may go look them up before I forget to.

To go off on a complete tangent....

The title of this puzzle always reminds me of the quote of Jan's that got spread around the Internet:

"It's important to remember that just because there are crooks, zealots and morons supporting a position, it does not automatically follow that the position is wrong."
