It's along the lines of:
If there's only one allowed in each of these two columns, then one and only one horizontal 2 can go there. Then next to that, this column has two 1s, but the next only one. This restricts where the other 2s can go...
This was a cool image. You were vague with your hint, though, and had I not solved it on my own, I would have been confused. You need to give specific rows and columns with your explanation.#3: Jane Doe (telly) on Feb 18, 2010
Edge logic places one black pixel in C30. The three 2s in the bottom 3 rows can not overlap. The 2 in row 29 can not be placed in R25-26, since the other 2s could not be placed. Edge logic gives you another dot in C29R30.
Extended edge logic on C28-29 lets you place the last pixel of the 5 in C28R22.
No matter if the 2 in C30 goes up or down, R27C29 will always be a dot. Then it solves out.
