Puzzle Description:

The Ghost Clown; he was rated the #1 villain out of all of the Scooby Doo episodes.

Here is the link with him and the others (which I was tempted to do also):

It is tough to do a multi-color image in black and white only, which is why his mouth looks just a little different.

Oh, and simple edge logic on the 7 in row 45 at the very end will let you finish this.

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.
#4: Gator (Gator) on Dec 16, 2009 [HINT]
I liked the way that the last bit of logic at the bottom played out. Very nice.
#5: Kai-Uwe Zickerick (conzick) on Dec 16, 2009
Well done, Adam. And welcome back to the creators...
#6: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Dec 16, 2009
Very awesome image. Great solve.
#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 16, 2009
Hurray! Adam is creating again! This was fun from beginning to end, especially the end. Excellent!
#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 16, 2009
Thank you all. It's really fun to create. Sometimes I just run out of ideas. Leave it to Teresa's 400+ puzzles to give us more than enough work. :-)

What a wonderful paint-by-number. It was so much fun to solve; very enjoyable!!! Thanks Adam.
#10: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 16, 2009
You are welcome. Thank you for the compliment.
#11: Jota (jota) on Dec 17, 2009 [SPOILER]
Verry scarry!
#12: Cynthia Lynn McDaniel (mcaardva) on Dec 17, 2009
I was never afraid of clowns until just now...
#13: Fran (rmm) on Dec 17, 2009
Thanks for making this puzzle :)
#14: Jan Wolter (jan) on Dec 17, 2009 [SPOILER]
Nice puzzle.

Horrible url in response #1. You can shorten that to http://www.retroist.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/clown.jpg

I actually think your version looks better than the real thing. Gaunter and more maniacal. The original clown looks like you could run away from him. He's a butterball with no stamina. Adam's version would run you down in a second.
#15: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 17, 2009
Thanks, Jan. Looking back and comparing them, I agree with your last paragraph.

Horrible url as in "it didn't work" or as in "way too long?"
#16: Jane Doe (telly) on Dec 18, 2009
great to see you back!
nice image and puzzle. Really fun to solve. (love it if it were a tad bit smaller ;) )
#17: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 18, 2009
Thank you. The dilemma, as always, is this: a high quality puzzle in terms of detail can rarely be done on a smaller puzzle. High quality in terms of "fun factor" can just as easily be created on smaller puzzles.

I figure there are a lot of people creating smaller puzzles, and not enough people creating larger puzzles. So, for the few of you out there who enjoy the larger puzzles, "these are for you!"
#18: Beth (Shasta) on Dec 19, 2009
You made my day! I have been enjoying Theresa's puzzles because I have not had much time lately and hers are usually quick but today my plan is to have a kick back day. I got up early and sat down thinking I need a longer puzzle and here you are back! Thank you!
#19: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 19, 2009
You're welcome.
#20: Jacqui Lemon (jaxlemon) on Dec 20, 2009 [SPOILER]
i was expecting a scooby doo character but really had NO idea that there was a ghost clown!
thanks for the puzzle. :)
#21: Hanna Graver (roodies2cool) on Feb 13, 2010
ur such a jerk!
#22: Diana W (aeris) on Apr 28, 2010 [SPOILER]
I didn't know a clown could look that creepy... yours is definitely scarier than the original. I enjoyed the solve, especially the lower outline of his face (though by that point, I could see him leering at me, and I was a little creeped out...). Thanks for the puzzle, this was fun even though I didn't recognize the character.
#23: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Dec 4, 2010
really cool
i didnt recognize him either
i especially like the eyes
