Puzzle Description:

A big slice of pumpkin pie with Cool Whip on top! Either before or after dinner works for me! Our family has at least two ready each Thanksgiving.

Nice image - made me hungry.
#2: Byrdie (byrdie) on Nov 23, 2009 [SPOILER]
Isn't it funny that the cool whip is just as good with or without the pie?

It was fun watching this puzzle emerge as it solved. Nicely done.

Thank you! I found myself wanting a slice myself. I also agree that Cool Whip is just as good straight out of the tub! Can smell it cooking already.

lol well the sad thing is when I went to the store to get pumpkin today, they don't have any!! Evidently shipments are very few and far between due to excessive rain reducing the crops! YIKES! No pumpkin pie?!?!
#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 24, 2009 [SPOILER]
Oh no! I had heard that one the news, and hurried to the store. We still have cans on the shelf here. I can't imagine Thanksgiving without the pumpkin pie. You can try going to the frozen yogurt shop, they usually have pumpkin flavored frozen yogurt close to TG, and it tastes just like pumpkin pie.

Very nice puzzle, by the way. Lots of fun to solve and perfect image. I did a smaller version last year, my second puzzle ever. I like yours better. :-)
#10: Jennifer Jones (geekess) on Nov 24, 2009 [SPOILER]

You can't knock pumpkin pie. Especially if you are in a relationship. To learn about the power of the aroma of pumpkin pie, read this:

nice puzzle. Now I want some and we don't have any. darn it.
#18: Jan Wolter (jan) on Jan 21, 2010 [SPOILER]
I solved this rather late for thanksgiving.

This year we grew our own cooking pumpkins, though the household favorite is something called "chocolate chip pumpkin bread" rather than pumpkin pie. I'm not sure growing your own pumpkins really makes sense. The plants take up a lot of space in the garden (and on the lawn adjacent to the garden). But they are fun.
#19: Jane Doe (telly) on Jan 22, 2010
We grew some last year and decided the same thing Jan, while it was fun, it took up a lot of room. We probably won't in our next garden.

I'm not thrilled with the fork (it's hard to get those right anyways), but great image of the pie and topping. They look very real.
#21: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 10, 2011
Maybe I should have served it with a spoon? :-)
#22: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Feb 16, 2011

i think the fork is better than fine

When this popped up today, I recall it was such a fun solve, so I did it again!

Re #18: We've been eating chocolate chip pumpkin bread today! It's still a household favorite.
