And baby makes three.

Mother Nature, in her infinite wisdom, has instilled within each of us a powerful biological instinct to reproduce; this is her way of assuring that the human race, come what may, will never have any disposable income. ~Dave Barry

Nice puzzle Teresa.

Great job. A prime example of two methods of getting great images on a small grid: aggressive cropping, so we focus exclusively on the good parts of the image, and exploiting the jaggedness of the pixel lines to actually bring out details like the mother's lips that couldn't possibly be achieved if they mother's face were angled differently. Very cool.

Thanks, Gator and Jan. What I'm particularly pleased with is the Daddy's expression. "Proud Father." The mom just looks concerned. That's her job, to worry. :-)

Whenever I held my newborn baby in my arms, I used to think that what I said and did to him could have an influence not only on him but on all whom he met, not only for a day or a month or a year, but for all eternity - a very challenging and exciting thought for a mother. ~Rose Kennedy
#6: Jan Wolter (jan) on Nov 19, 2009 [SPOILER]
If Rose Kennedy had suspected just how much influence her babies would have on the world, than she would have been paralyzed with terror.
