E.coli bacterium

The first area I found to start solving was the top left corner, where the "E" was. I thought, "oh no, a text puzzle by Gator?" I realized that the solution was going to be E.Coli based on that E, but then I didn't see any other letters as I solved the top half. The bottom half was trickier, but still solvable with plain line logic. Then, lo and behold, toward the very end, the letters "coli" sure enough appeared.

Weird. Adam posted almost word for word what I was going to say, except I was also going to mention that this was one of the weirder PBN subjects that I've encountered. Maybe you could do a germ series. Some are pretty.

Not entirely amazing. We've been sharing our opinions and solution techniques on on PBN puzzles for years now. A certain amount of convergence is not so very amazing.

Well, when you consider that the two people converging are you and I, then yes, I feel it's amazing. Maybe with two other people involved, not so amazing.

It looks more like a strange cockroach to me.

Well, Adam and Jan, I was going to write pretty much the same thing. I imagine there will be many other who will chime in. Not so amazing then. :-) But the puzzle was amazingly fun. Thanks, Gator!

I believe the E coli text was added for solvability.

This was one of the easiest Gator puzzles I've tackled. Lots of fun.

I actually used a little of what I call "Gator logic" in solving some of the trickier spots. Many of your images have that diagonal perspective, which helps in placing certain 2s and 3s.
Thanks for yet another fun puzz!

Edge logic on the top row made things go pretty quickly. Apparently this puzzle didn't need it, though. Good use of letters and an image combined--seeing the "E" at first had me wondering if it was going to be a text puzzle, too.
