Good luck with that final! When I was in college a girl down the hall over slept 1.5 hours. She woke up started screaming and ran down the hall and out the door in her PJ's (still screaming!). Good puzzle! I hope the battery is the backup in case of power failure.

Well, finals are over, and I survived. Thank you all for the comments. Yeah, I tried to make it a cord, but I can easily see how it's confusing.

And Beth, I have had bad dreams about that happening so many times. I set two alarms to make sure that didn't happen.

To me the worst sound is whining. But the alarm clock buzzer is a close second.

I thought it would be a vuvuzela, from the title. Then I started solving, and it looked like a Keith Haring illustration early in the solve.

Just looked up vuvuzela. Boy is it annoying!

The worst, it ruined the world cup for me.
