Of Course!
#2: Philip Snyder (Alex72) on Oct 28, 2004 [HINT]
the left rear leg required a guess, right?
#3: Jan Wolter (jan) on Oct 28, 2004 [HINT]
This has a unique solution, but it can't be solved entirely by looking at one row/column at a time. You don't really need to guess though. Near the end, if you consider the places that the three in the bottom row can be, you'll see that only one is possible given that you need a two in the row above.

Really a great picture, and some "uncommon" logic required at the end. The best picture yet (of the ones I have soloved). Im glad I saved the 5 for qualityrating for pictures like this

This puzzle holds up very well, even as the database has grown. It's really a pretty good picture!

Edge logic helped solve the last leg. No guessing required.
Fun image. These types of puzzles are my favorite. Not too hard, not too easy. Logically solvable. Black and white. Not too large. Resulting in a nice image.

Very nice image for the size. The last leg was a bit of a guess based on what the rest of the image.

Man, it's always neat to see a really low-numbered puzzle with an interesting story. Especially from the site's founder.

I agree, Andrew.
