Very cool Tom! We live about 35 miles from where US66 once cut the southeast corner of Kansas (coming west out of Joplin and through Riverton, KS just before it angled south into Oklahoma). Our son had his senior pictures taken (in his '72 Chevelle) on the old original concrete arch bridge of US66, west of Riverton!

David, what do you think of the version I posted. Pappo, the singer and guitar player (now deceased) is quite a hero here in Argentina. An excellent guitar player, he was once invited to play with B.B.King at Madison Square Garden

It was pretty great too! Has that gritty authentic feel that makes the original so amazing and it was really cool hearing it in another language! Helps that I know a little bit of Spanish so I recognized some of the words too :)

Woohoo! Knew this one from the title alone, and then the outline of the sign appeared and I got excited! That song was a annual staple in my high school Vocal Jazz repertoire. :)
