Boy the green on the 18th sure looks lush. Tom,it looks like a pretty straight putt with just a bit of left to right break and slightly downhill. Your putter looks like it might be a good Ping blade putter,so I have to ask,was it a long putt,or was the wager so steep that you lost your nerve and choked,or was Ellen playing against you and she was wearing that cleavage displaying silk blouse that she got back from Rhodyboy. Love the puzzle.:)

That was the Get Smart thought that went through my mind. Aaarrrghhh... (Charlie Brown thought as well) It was on the lip. All of the above distracted me Aldege :(

I was also hearing Agent 86 saying "Missed it by that much, Chief!"

So close, but yet so far......

I remember playing in a golf tournament sponsored by two guys that owned a bar. I was quite surprised when I was announced as winner of the closest to the pin as my ball had barely made it on the green. Seems, that since the tournament was run by a couple of bar owners the booze was flowing freely and the closest to the pin hole was on the back nine. Needless to say, things were getting a bit woozy for everybody and my ball was the only one to make it on the green.
