like kristen, for some reason i also had "southwest" in my mind and was trying to picture a desert creature or a cactus or something

Funny, that wasn't a dig. This is the 2nd negative image puzzle I created. They wouldn't work the other way. Once you see it the first time, or are creating it, there is no other image in your brain.
