An absolutely wonderful image Kit E. Katz, wow!

Thanks marz71. It underwent far too many revisions to get the program to say it was logically solvable; however, your response makes up for that. Glad you enjoyed it and hope the others do too!

i see the the tweedle brothers and the crow but what is the crow standing on? (or what is the thing on the boys' shoulders?)
it looks like a bunch of exclamation points in a "v" shape

That's what it is bugaboo. Emphasizing their being startled by the crow. :)

I usually don't work puzzles this big (because of my eyes). But I figured this would be a good one because you never disappoint, Kit. And I was right. So delightful to solve, and a wonderful image as a reward. Excellent all around!

that description is bizarre... but a pretty good image.

Loved this puzzle, and I like the description as well. Thanks for putting it together for us!

keicher, the description is a poem from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass" Here's a copy of the text in which it appears: http://www.alice-in-wonderland.net/books/2chpt4.html His writings may seem a bit bizarre but are very entertaining. Other well known poems from the Alice stories are "The Walrus & the Carpenter" and "The Jabberwocky".

Thanks for all the comments, everyone.

Nice image!
Until I solved it and got the answer, I thought it was perhaps the border wall, with the eagle guarding the top while the people stuck outside cry

Without the story I thought it was a take off of one of the wall hangings from the 1880s. Great job. Fun solve. No guessing.
