Puzzle Description:

I took license with the slot and alignment, heck, I took license with everything. Check the spoilers for a link.

I have one of these, and was thinking of a puzzle idea...

once line logic runs out all you have to do is use edge logic on the 11 clue in r17 to get 3 dots in c1-3 and it solves out with line logic
no guessing

i admit i had no idea what this was
i thought it was a strange weather vane or something

I did the same thing as Bugaboo with the line logic on the 11 in r17. No guessing required. Rated as such. No idea what this contraption is, even after looking at the link posted.

It's a mechanical bank from the 1950s

I guessed Piggy Bank right away, then as I solved more I figured it was one of those contraptions that shoots the coin into the slot. I hadn't seen the spaceship variety before.

Kristen: I thought you'd see a parakeet staring at the sun ;-)

It does look a bit weathervane-ish :D

Cool puzzle Tom, did the same logic as bugaboo & Levi, no guessing, fun solve, thanks :)

Such a fun puzzle, Tom. I figured that was a coin slot. I remember seeing cool mechanical banks in the store, but never had one of my own.

I got stuck at one point, and almost peeked at the hints, but then decided to keep looking, and finally found that elusive pixel. Great challenge! :-)

You guys/gals are too kind, I'm sure you saw it immediately. I'll come up with something this weekend. I find I do better freehanding, although they will always be "garbage." Adding pixels when needed. Best,Tom

No guessing. You can get this type of contraption from the "Bits and Pieces" catalog. I bought a few as gifts about 15 years ago.

A bank? Fun solve.
