Sorry, forgot the description. Not much of an artist here, but figured I would try another. I needed the lily pad to provide enough pixels for a solve. I hope you like it...

Oh.. It is supposed to be a Turtle..
#3: Levi Ross (rhodyboy888) on Nov 16, 2011 [SPOILER]
I guessed but did not rate it as so. Maybe it is solvable by logic alone. I will defer to greater minds than mine to decide and rate it. That is one long neck on your turtle.

Thanks, Levi. It took me three times to solve it. I am new at this creation game. The pad fills in quickly. Then edge on the top and right. Then, painfully, pixel by pixel ;-(

The key is the 3 in column 18. Eventually you pick up one pixel there, then it solves out.

Did the computer say it had a unique solution? I made a lot of educated guesses, but like Levi, I may have stumbled onto the correct ones.

It looks like a big snake got into the pond. :)

Babysitting my second puzzle. I shouldn't have changed my first. I thought this one was tough...

Yes. I solved it. I'll try it again.
#9: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Nov 16, 2011 [HINT]
completely solvable without guessing

line logic gets about half of this solved
you can use edge logic on the 6 clue in r1 to get 2 dots and 2 black pixels (you actually only need the dot in r1c19)
the next step is a little less obvious but crucial

use edge logic in c19 (in the upper section) along the "edge" that c20 provides; start at r7c19

you know that if a black pixel is there it cant be the 1 clue in that column, so if a black pixel goes there it will be part of the 2 or the 3 but this causes a violation of r6c18 so you can dot r7c19 and line logic solves the rest

great solve

Thanks, Bugaboo. I just solved it again.

Amazing solving Tom, I love it, totally logically solvable, like bugaboo said, was one of the toughest puzzles I have solved for a while, my brain is happy! Thank you so much, keep up the great work :) :) :)

Found to be logically solvable by gator.
#13: Gator (gator) on Nov 18, 2011 [HINT]
Great puzzle Tom! I used something similar to bugaboo in column 19 (using the 3 clue, upper part would violate C18, thus R12C19 had to be black).

Thanks for your comments. I slowly learned the edge from most of those commenting on this puzzle. I was always good at even very tough LLS puzzles. Picking out contradictions, etc. You all inspired me.
