When I try to do small children, I usually end up doing a negative image, so their limbs look pudgy enough. :)

Hard labour actually looks better to me Marz, and i'll clarify before others ask,the line that goes up at the right is suppose to be the umbilical cord,am i right marz?:)

I like this one better but having had kids myself, I am not sure how easy either one of these would be!

I was almost going to do negative image Kristen, but then thought, nah, it would probably be too easy, I knew it would look better though. Maybe I will do another one soon in negative, hmmm :)

Aldege, yep, that is the umbilical cord, oh and I did check out your puzz too, looks cool, very realistic :)

Thanks Susan, yeah, I know what you mean, ow ow ow :)

Really liked doing the B&W better; the red seemed an unnecessary distraction here. Good Job either way (or I should say both ways).

This one looks nice with the color. For solving though I really enjoy the B&W, especially with that extra challenge with lots of white space.

with regards to the question posed by aldege in 3 i would like to answer that it looks like a strong urine stream
haha

actually to quote wikipedia

"The amniotic sac grows and begins to fill, mainly with water, approximately two weeks after fertilization. 10 weeks later the liquid contains proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and phospholipids, urea and electrolytes, all of which aid in the growth of the fetus. Amniotic fluid is produced by exudation of fluid through the skin of the fetus up until the 14th week of pregnancy at which point keratinization of skin occurs. DURING WEEKS 8–11, THE FETUS BEGINS TO SWALLOW AND URINATE, WHICH IS WHY THE AMNIOTIC FLUID CONTAINS FETAL URINE IN THE LATER STAGES OF GESTATION."

This is beautiful. I love how simple the detail is and yet, for a puzzle this size, the detail is amazing. I guess I've missed the Hard Labour puzzle but I will go look for it now. I like this one a lot so I'm sure I'll enjoy the b&w also.
