solve steps for anyone interested:
line logic
edge logic to place a single dot in c23r30 (i'm sure more is possible...but not needed)

once you have 29 blanks left, it doesn't matter which of the two in r17 are black, c8r16 and c8r15 will be dots

Thank you for the poetry reference, although I don't think Custard is depicted.
However, this picture is titled "Mythical Creature." This strikes me as dangerous. I would not want to try to tell a dragon that they are mythical.
