Puzzle Description:

A lot of people who procrastinate give the excuse: "I'll do it when I get around to it" Here's a Round "To It"... so get it done! The future would be brighter if less of today's tasks were not left for tomorrow. ;)

I know! I know! It's not perfectly round.

I'll fix it when I get around to it!

You've inspired me to do a project which I have put off since October. All I needed was a "Round TO IT". Who knew!?!
#10: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Jun 9, 2011
Glad to know I helped, vickicwoods. :) I've recently been playing catch-up lately on tasks some of which I'd put off so long I'd forgotten about them! XD

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm glad you liked this one.

Nice puzzle - kinda looks like the old chips you put in a 45 (if anybody remembers what those are!) to play on a record player!
#15: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Jun 10, 2011 [SPOILER]
Hahaha! You mean those center adapters so one could play 45s on a variable speed phonograph (45-33-76)? It does. We had a bunch that were crayola colored.

The letters reminded me of the hippie/groovy font that was used a lot on posters way back when. That's why I added the little flowers - no room for big daisies though. ;)
#16: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 10, 2011
78 Kit :)
#17: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 10, 2011
I only had the 33's, but it was fun to play them at 45 and 78rpm, to make everyone sound like chipmunks!
#18: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Jun 10, 2011
No Sensei, 76 sounds about right; they've been sitting on the shelf so long I think they've depreciated. jk XD

Thanks for the correction. I thought it didn't look quite right when I typed it, but I was too tired to Google-check it.
#19: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Jun 11, 2011
Hahaha! kristen. Did you ever try that with an Alvin and the Chipmunks record? :D
#20: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 12, 2011
Of course!

My mother had a round TOIT when I was a kid (back in the 70s, actually), along with a tacks shelter.

As to the record speed issue, the earliest recordings were made at various speeds. We have a Victrola in the attic and the analog speed control goes from 50- to 80+. Looking through our albums (and they are real albums - like photo albums), I have yet to find a speed marked.

There is a label on the back of one (a one-sided record) with a very long license full of terms and conditions (no re-recording, you may only play this on equipment purchased from our company, this record may not be sold or resold for less than 60 cents, This label must stay on or the possessor is in violation of law, etc.). It is dated 1908. The long roots of ASCAP.
