Happy Birthday! And an excellent puzzle, both in image and solve. (I knew it was a cupcake early on, and not a muffin! However, I did think until almost the end that the candle was a 1, leaving me to wonder whose first birthday it was.)
#6: Avgvstvs (Avgvstvs) on Jun 6, 2011 [SPOILER]

From the title, I was expecting a stick of dynamite. I was right about it being a long cylinder that was lit at one end. :-)

Happy birthday, youngster.

#20: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Mar 17, 2021
thanks valerie! my youngest became a teenager this month, i think that makes me feel older than my own age :P
#21: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Mar 17, 2021
David - My youngest became a teenager a few weeks ago too, so the two of them must be almost exactly the same age. Fun!
#22: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Mar 17, 2021
Yeah, sounds like you're may be a few days older. March 7th here :)
#23: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Mar 17, 2021
Yeah, Corbin's birthday is February 19th -- though if I remember right, March 7th was his original due date. (He arrived early.) I have a niece who turned 14 on March 7th -- it's a good day for a birthday.
#24: Koreen (mom24plus) on Mar 18, 2021 [SPOILER]
Sigh, my birthday is 2 days after Christmas...NOT a good time for a birthday. ;-) So, David, your fishing has netted you a good haul - almost guaranteed for years to come. I'll wish you a happy 45th now. Hope the next 10 years bring you joy.
#25: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Mar 20, 2021
Koreen - that is an awkward day for a birthday. My brother's birthday is also the 27'th, and my sister-in-law is the 24'th. This can be good or bad, sometimes there is one resent and the card says "Merry Christmas and Hapy Birthda", but that often means that the present is a bigger more expensive one than would be normal for either gift by itself.
#26: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Mar 21, 2021
My daughter's birthday is 12/21 so I just ask her beforehand if she'd like a combined larger present or separate. It's been about 50-50 so far, but growing more toward a larger combined as she's gotten older.
#27: Gator (gator) on Mar 23, 2021
The other advantage is that family is usually getting together around Christmas anyway, so your birthday will always be celebrated.
