bugaboo, lucky they are in the AL west so i don't think they'll lose so much ground that they can't recover when he gets back. no doubt we'll miss having him in the line-up, but we're not a one-trick pony like the mariners. the slide? didn't look overly aggresive to me, but i'd rather he play hard and be out with an injury than not play with passion. he helps set the tone for the whole team.

thanks to all for the compliments. the baseball seam was tricky because the stereotypical V's that you can make with 3 squares have a nasty habit of going multiple solution.

Beautifully done and I love how how you worked out the v's. But I couldn't help thinking how we just can't help not getting terribly exited over someone else's logo? Now, the Diamond backs, on the other hand......

The Diamondbacks are in 2nd place behind the Dodgers but 11.5 games behind. I guess you can't really call that a close second.

Excellent image ! After 2015-2016 what has happened?

they haven't been doing very well since then. they finished 1st in their division but got knocked out in the league championship in 2015 and 2016...but floundering ever since :(

Well, what do you know? 2011 was heartbreak but 2023 must've felt wonderful.

Oh man like you wouldn't believe!! I used to live super close to the ballpark. It was a quarter mile from my door to the entrance gate. Would watch the fireworks out my bedroom window. Couldn't believe it when they finally won it all!!
