#10: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Mar 14, 2011 [SPOILER]
Pi day is a big day in my son's high school...the math teachers let the kids throw whip cream pies at them! I guess it shows math is fun! I personally never thought so!! Also, the cafeteria staff makes all different kinds of pies for the kids to eat during lunch. Hopefully they don't celebrate Steak and BJ day at the high school!!!!!
#11: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 14, 2011 [SPOILER]
Fun puzzle, Melissa. I did know not there was an official Pi day.
My favorite pie is "Fruit of the Forest". I had never heard of it and had it at a restaurant. It's a mixture of fruit -- blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, apples and I forget if there were other fruits in it. It seems like it sould be called fruit of the fields but fruit of the forest sounds cooler. Any one ever had it?
#12: Joel Lynn (Furface1) on Mar 14, 2011
Sounds like leftovers to me!
#13: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Mar 14, 2011
I have had that pie Sarah...warm with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious!
#14: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 15, 2011
Carol, I'm glad that you knew what I was talking about. It is a good pie. Having it warm with ice cream sounds even better.
#15: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 15, 2011
Sarah they call it fruit of the forest cause it's made with all the berries, apples and whatever else all the animals in the forest discard either through regurgitation or well you get the picture.lol.Seriously,it is delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream only.I'm kind of interested in knowing what this b.j. day thing is.Can anybody tell me?I know what Niki's implying but surely that can't be it can it?
#16: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 15, 2011
Aldege, That day is not printed on my calendar. So I looked up daily holidays. One site you had to register so I skipped it. So I found this one. For March 14th, it listed International Ask a question day, napping day (everyone tired for changing clocks - does Canada change clocks?), Potato Chip day, and Pi Day. This site has month, week and daily days of celebrating whatever. I guess there's a day for everything.

I haven't done your latest puzzles but I did see them listed and will do them. I always love your puzzles. Please publish your puzzle. Also I'm about 1/3 the way through the latest Motley puzzle but can't wait to see it. Plus our Internet connection isn't the greatest and often I can't get to this site.
