Thanks for a very nice entry!#4: Kit E. Katz (Hello) on Mar 13, 2011 [SPOILER]
Thanks. It was inspired by the photo here: http://www.travel-visit-places.com/wp-content/uploads/image/uluru/uluru.jpg#5: Kadou (Kadou) on Mar 13, 2011
A direct quote from Wikipedia: "The world-renowned sandstone formation stands 348 m (1,142 ft) high (863 m/2,831 ft above sea level) with most of its bulk below the ground, and measures 9.4 km (5.8 mi) in circumference." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uluru_rock
Please have "WCP" in title so the search engine can find it - 3 characters required. Thanks#6: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Mar 13, 2011
Beautiful. Love the blue pattern in the background!#7: Wesley Snyder (wsnyder98) on Mar 14, 2011
I bet I could skip that... what is it, 3 miles across?#8: Kit E. Katz (Hello) on Mar 14, 2011
Ok, Kadou, thanks. Change made.#9: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Mar 14, 2011
Thanks KarylAnne. It took a while to come up with a design that I was satisfied with. The first version of this I did was 40x40 and was a bit too gaudy.
LOL, wsnyder98. I added a description to comment #4 to answer your question.

Nicely done, Kit. I like how you did the earth and sky area. I appreciate originality in the creation of a puzzle.#14: Kit E. Katz (Hello) on Mar 19, 2011 [SPOILER]
Thanks Teresa, I was trying to give those areas a stylized psuedo-tribal design. I didn't want to just default to plain solid blue for sky/ green for land; I was hoping to draw the eye to the central image.
Thanks Adam, just solved the first 2 and working on the 3rd. Simply awesome; it's fascinating to see how different artists choose to portray the same subject.
