Why Tom?is he late for they're date?
#3: Trish (tryingmysoul) on Mar 12, 2011
I thought maybe he hit an oil slick.
#4: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 12, 2011
That's those cheap tires,i think they're made of black licorice.
#5: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 12, 2011
Great puzzle. Gosh, I can't believe I bought a wheelbarrow for Mr.B with licorice tires and no brakes. I ordered those all-weather radial tires -- over-night delivery. The UPS guy won't show up until early evening --- not his fault though. Just a side effect of living in the boonies.

yeah...tell dat tale to hen/girl

Sarah, try wrapping the old tires in some birch bark until the UPS guy shows,if you use white birch they will look like whitewalls.I'm sure you must have lots of white and silver birch amongst those trees you sit in.lol.

Now I have a reason to use one of the new chain saws my husband just got. I had a small one but it died of old age. We heat the house with a wood stove so we use chain saws a lot.
Tom might be right about Mr B's girl getting mad.

It's a good thing that Mr. B is doing well enough to push his own wheelbarrow. Great puzzle
#10: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 13, 2011
Thx Susan, yes Mr B appears to be improving quickly since he started dating his girlfriend, love is quite the elixir.
#11: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Mar 13, 2011 [SPOILER]
Did I miss something? Did Mr. B go from a real rooster to a mythical creature? He went from riding in a wheel barrow to pushing a wheel barrow to pick up chicks? (sorry I couldn't resist) I must go back and read some previous puzzle comments.

Is anyone working on the bluegrass instrumental "The Ballad of Mr. B"?
#12: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 13, 2011 [SPOILER]
No, Mr B is real. He rides in a wheel barrow but he only has one girl. He visits her at the chicken coop. SInce his house and the barn are a distance apart, he can't walk that far. His legs are getting better and his wheelbarrow had a flat tire so he had to bring it home. Aldege is fixing his wheelbarrow right now -- on a Sunday no less. How's that for good service!

Do we have any musicians in our puzzle family? We've had some music puzzles but no one has mentioned song writing
