I thought the ship might throw everyone off. I've been testing these puzzles on my husband and he said the same thing you did bugaboo. That's why I added the other two clues.

Yeah, I didn't get the boat, either until I read this. Weird we have phrases that we don't really think of their origins and still use them, knowing their meaning or "gist" without getting the words??? Like "barrel full of monkeys"... where does that come from???

So true GabrielMyCat. I looked around on the web and couldn't find a consensus where barrel full of monkeys originated. Maybe colloquialisms should be my next series!
