Puzzle Description:

O. Henry's short story, The Gift of the Magi. for those not familiar with it: a young couple with little money want to purchase surprise gifts for each other. the man has a pocket watch he is very proud of, and she has beautiful hair and is equally proud of it. he buys her a comb to set of her hair, she buys him a watch fob to show off his watch. however, she sells her hair to buy the fob; he sells his watch to buy the comb. even though this is a Christmas story, I though it applicable to Valentine's Day because, though the gifts are unusable, they each now know to what extent they are loved. sappy, yeah... but hey... it's Valentine's Day. :-)

It's a great story. You drews the objects very well. Fun to do. Are you planning on doing any more stories?

I'd like to. got an idea for another one, but no pixels yet. :-)

i agree with sarah about the great story
i couldnt tell what these things were until i read the decription
i saw:
a bottle of cologne
an chameleon/seahorse tail wrapped in a bow
no idea what on the top right
a green pencil
a ball and chain

I guessed the story once I finished the comb. Great job!

Fun puzzle and I liked the story

Great puzzle! I could recognize the objects, but my brain was trying to make it into a rebus. So I saw "elbow" but couldn't make the comb and chain fit with that.

I hope you do more. This was lots of fun.
