i used a lot of internal edge logic along the way to get about 90 percent of this done
then i had to guess

i am going to use another of my endless supply of gator lifelines
haha

Unfortunately this isn't solvable without guessing...at least, I couldn't figure it out either.
Good rebus.

Sorry,it said it was solvable.I hope you enjoyed it anyway.

I think I did a little guessing but it was fairly easy. I figured out the answer before I finished the puzzle. Good one!

Row 19 was the only area where I did any kind of guessing. This was using the two 3s. I already slotted in the 1 that is part of the plus sign (having made a few of these myself, I knew, but I wasn't assuming until it solved and I did get that square), and was one square away from filling in at least two squares in the remaining area.

My process for this little 10x10 or so area: If the furthest right sector in R19 (C41-43) is all filled for the latter 3, and you start solving those columns, you can solve all but one filled square for R18. Once all the resulting dots are in, you can start solving C36-38. The result: a 3 in a row of all 2s. Therefore, R19C43 is false, you can start solving the 3s in the row, and the rest logically solves.

Look-ahead logic perhaps, but it worked for me even if it is considered guessing. I'll let Gator make a judgment on this.

Let's see if this one can be whittled down...

I used a lot of edge logic to get about 90% done like bugaboo said. What comes next is what I did, but all of it may not be required.

If you look at all of the possible places the 2 clue can go in column 14 and look how this will affect column 16 (2 move look-aheads), in every case, R15C16 and R16C16 will be black.

Now look at row 14. If the 2 clue is placed in R14C14-R14C15, then most of the rest of row 14 is dots, and looking one more move ahead (total of 2), columns above this row are dotted in 38, 40-42. This makes it impossible to fill in rows 11-13. So R14C14-R14C15 are dots. A little more line logic.

Next I looked at the 3 clue in row 18 and columns 40-42. In this case I imagined, that R18C40-R18C42 were all dots. This forces R14C40-R14C42 to be black which makes row 14 invalid. Therefore we know that all three of those cells in row 18 cannot be dots. At least one of them has to be black. Knowing this lets us put dots in R18C34-R18C37. The rest solves with line logic.

Very difficult puzzle...in other words, this is an excellent puzzle! :)

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.

Wow - that was WAY too hard for me. I had to guess, and I could not follow Gator's clues. But I sure did enjoy this puzzle. :-)

Thanks Teresa, glad you enjoyed it, sorry it was so difficult.

lots of guessing.
