very nice puzzle - a little toughie, but very nice graphic with the black branches and single red leaf. nice haiku by bugaboo, too :-)

Tough little puzzle - even when one deciphers the title.

I was wondering what the "one" was. I figured what the puzzle was and then forgot about the red bit, so when I solved it, it was a neat aha moment.

This also reminds me of O Henry's story "The Last Leaf." People think it's one of his best, and I agree. I remember my 7th grade science teacher reading it to us--sometimes he did that when we were ahead of schedule.

You can read The Last Leaf and all O Henry's stuff on gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/3707/3707-h/3707-h.htm#c20
