Oh yeah, I forget it was currently my year! I remember having dragons in my class with me at school, when we first learned about the Chinese Zodiac. We like to combine the two zodiacs, so I'm a fish rabbit, my husband's a crab dog, and my son is a scorpion snake.

Combining the two, I'm a ram sheep and my daughter is a lion tiger (which works for her as a liger is pretty much her favorite animal ever.)

Tom to be a snake you had to be born in 1929, 1941 or 1953.
I just check mine and I'm a ROOSTER, way cool.

In the Chinese Zodiac there is also one of five elements (metal, water, wood, fire and earth) associated with each year. I am a Fire Dragon (1976). 2012 babies will be Water Dragons.
