Puzzle Description:

The British invaded Baltimore scant weeks after they burned the White House in Washington. They were repulsed in a three-day battle. Francis Scott Key wrote "The Star Spangled Banner" during the invasion.

A lesser known song about the Battle of Baltimore goes like this:

The gen'ral gave orders for the troops to march down,
To meet the proud Ross, and to check his ambition;
To inform him we have decreed in our town
That here he can't enter without our permission.
And if life he regards, he will not press too hard,
For Baltimore freemen are ever prepared
To check the presumptuous, whoever they be,
That may rashly attempt to evade our decree.

This was a very good solve!!! Thanks !!!
We'll have to wait for "The Boss" to clarify if it can be considered an entry.

We's got invading. We's got singing. We's got the British. Invading. And playing Handel's "Judas Maccabeus" while burning down the White House.
