Aloha (goodbye) at least for a week..I'm off to the Island paradise...YAY!!!

I'm leaving on the 3rd so I get to experience the 4th of July fireworks over Waikiki beach...I'm so excited!!
I'm not taking a computer so I'll probably go through PBN withdrawal :(
I'm sure I'll have a lot to catch up on after I return.

Just go slow and take it easy so they don't disappear too quickly. Plus, you are on vacation! Take a break from the stress of pbn. :-)

thank you...we will get back late on the 10th, the airplane lands in LAX after 9pm then we have a 2 hour drive from there to get home..I bet my bed will feel SOOOOO GOOD after staying in hotel beds for a week :)

Oh, we suffered terribly..
lush green foliage everywhere, deep blue skies, crystal clear warm water...I don't know how we survived a whole week over there :)

Every morning before 9:00 & every evening at sunset I was swimming in the ocean with schools of fish (nieboo, are you jealous?), I snorkeled along the beautiful coral reefs, enjoyed the scenic views from the top of the mountains. I went to a luau & had Kahlua Pig and other Hawaiian delicacies.

I had a great visit with my Islander cousins, who taught me some things about my Hawaiian & Portuguese heritage & I got to met people from all over the world..

& WHY I CAME BACK I WILL NEVER KNOW!!!!!

One simple answer. Ok, maybe 2.

Naneki, maybe you sat next to my daughter for the fireworks on the beach, or at the luau, or snorkeling??? She was in Hawaii from July 3 to 7. Sounds like paradise!

Denver sounds familiar, what hotel did they stay in? I was in the "Queen Kapioloni" I met a lot of people on the elevator 'cause I was on the 17th floor 7 the elevators were slow!

I don't remember the name, but Queen Kapioloni doesn't ring a bell. They sure had a great time! Maybe some day I'll get there.
