after initial ll:

el the 15-clue in r1 to dot c1-4
ll
el the 8-clue in c1 to dot r2-7, and to also temporarily "dot" r16-22, completely placing the 8-clue in c1r8-15
ll to finish
no guessing
nice puzzle

Oops. Puzzles must be logically solvable and must have unique solutions to be considered.
#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 17, 2013
Besides that, it's a really great puzzle.
#9: Jota (jota) on Apr 17, 2013
Norma, I personally broke that "rule" a couple of weeks ago when Kristen entered a puzzle that I personally solved and that Bugaboo did too, so ...
#10: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Apr 17, 2013
ummm...this IS a unique puzzle that's logically solvable.
#11: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 17, 2013
Was thinking solvability had to read:

solvability: line logic only

or words to that effect as I seem to remember someone last fall sometime that had to redo their puzzle because it didn't say this. Or maybe not. Whatever.
#12: Jota (jota) on Apr 17, 2013
You are right about the solvability Norma, just that as we have gotten more "sophisticated" I tend not to rely on the "ratings" of those who are not and mark a puzzle as in need of guessing just because the "solver" does not solve it.
#13: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 17, 2013
Make it official then with explicit details so that there is no room for doubt. Please remember that some of us are not as "sophisticated" as others.
#14: Jota (jota) on Apr 17, 2013
That's what I tried to make with my previous comments :)
#15: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 17, 2013
It needs to be laid out in detail in the Honors page as newcomers are often confused. Leave nothing to be assumed. Just because it appeared buried in the comments of someone's puzzle doesn't make it so. Early in my solving days one the authors said never make assumptions while solving. They are your worst enemy.
#16: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Apr 18, 2013
Jota: It solved for me.
#17: BlackCat (blackcat) on Apr 18, 2013
Solved ok. Hard to see exactly what the image is without refering to the explanation.
