i was scared of cemeteries growing up

No, it was all very normal for us. My kindergarten and first grade classrooms overlooked the cemetery. We used to watch the funerals.

I have different memories of cemeteries.

Of course. It was a different world at that time. We could roam anywhere we wanted and our parents didn't worry. There weren't pedophiles around every corner.

We had a cemetery next to our school as well. We would have to miss recess when there was a funeral going on so we wouldn't disturb the grieving people. I thought maybe this puzzle represented your long lost childhood Trish - I know mine was a long time ago! Good puzzle
