Nice puzzle :) The only thing I'd change is that the stems should be on the side of the note, not down the middle. Like this: http://www.clker.com/cliparts/5/c/1/6/11971240821666015905corbeau_Eighth_note.svg.hi.png

Thanks all!!! Happy you liked it.... Thkya they are linked notes... not single ones!!!! :-))))) when two notes are linked together they have a bar on top.... not good with the computer so I can't share a link with you... ooops!!!! ;-)
#6: Thkya (Thkya) on Feb 22, 2011
I didn't say anything about the bars, I'm talking about how the stem connects to the note itself, at the bottom. I made you a puzzle to show you what I mean: http://webpbn.com/play.cgi?id=12366&sid=U1W7B_M:OYWAL7K-7JKBRe7H

The one on the left has the stem down along one side of the note, the one on the right has the stem down the middle. Is it clearer now?

beautiful G staff
#8: Shirlej Martin (Shirlej) on Feb 24, 2011
thanks heather!!!! :-)

thkya.... I'll try to explain myself better...The stem doesn't connect to the note itself... two notes connect to each other!!!! when two notes follow eachother there is no stem there is a sort of bar the unites the 2 notes!!!! Check it out here...... the 4th and the 5th note!!!!!!! http://www.negozidiroma.com/transmission-roma/ Hope I was clearer this time!!! ;-)

Notice, in the image you chose, that each note has a stem on the right side, connecting to the bar. If notes are high on the staff, the stems extend down on the left side; otherwise, they extend up on the right side of the note.

Nice puzzle.
#11: Thkya (Thkya) on Feb 24, 2011
Thanks Kristen :) Yeah, Shirlej: You're talking about the horisontal bars, but I'm talking about the vertical stems that go up from the notes.

Thyka... I did this puzzle cause I do believe that music unites the world... as a matter of fact I do consider myself a musician as I live thanks to music. I breathe music and I teach music.. I didn't want this to become a hassle to you... I noticed you also created a puzzle to prove your point and I did feel a little "spoken" about. So please just look at this puzzle not for its content but for its meaning... So peace thkya have a lovely musical day! :-)

*shrug* Okay. I wasn't trying to start trouble, I just don't like not being able to make a point understood.
#15: Shirlej Martin (Shirlej) on Feb 26, 2011
nor was I!!!! oops... I think we both misunderstand eachother!!! :-( awwww What I meant was : We shouldn't really care about perfection as to the meaning... I'm new here and I've never ever done puzzles before!!! This was my second one ever!!! I really am not into problems... so please please please let's start fresh!!!!! ;-)
