Puzzle Description:
"A wonderful bird is the pelican/ His bill can hold more than his beilcan/ He can take in his beak/ Food enough for a week/ But I'm damned if I see how the helican." by Dixon Merritt. When I started this series, I thought that this limerick was by Ogden Nash. Apparently it is often mistakenly attributed to him. I even found a couple of versions of the poem. The above is the one I found most often.

Okay I mis-spelled "Ogden" I will fix it later because if I do it now, I might mess up someone currently working on the puzzle. :O (Emoticon of me saying "Oh, no!")#3: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Jul 26, 2010

David: thanks for the link. Found the article very interesting. Plan on reading the other 4 in the series. Also learned two new words: anosognosic and hagiography.#5: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Jul 26, 2010
excellent. i have to thank you for paying tribute to ogden nash (even though this limerick isn't by him). he is one of the people whose works inspired me to become a children's author/illustrator. i really liked this series.#6: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Jul 27, 2010

Very fun!#9: jewel crown (jewel) on Nov 24, 2012
Synthia, I don't think only editing the title will mess up anyone's solve. I have gone back many times and edited the title or description, and I don't think it caused any problems for anyone.
Fun puzzle to solve and a funny limerick
