how many of you ululaters are brave enough to admit you ululate every day#4: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Jul 18, 2010
even more so, how many of you uvulate every day
haha (waiting for that puzzle, fasstar)
wow - i had no idea what this was called, but have seen examples of women (always seems to be women) in the middle east and africa who sing in this manner. i tried it and it is not that easy! As for uvulating - judging from the few deinitions i found online, i'm not sure if i've ever done it and i might be afraid to try. nice puzzle, teresa.#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jul 18, 2010
Um, I don't think I want to use any words from the Urban Dictionary. Most of them are not real words anyway, and half of them are gross or obscene. So, I'll just stick to my old worn out Merriam Webster.#6: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 19, 2010 [SPOILER]

I wondered what the image would be for this puzzle, and it turned out to be an effective one, especially given the size. Very nice.#8: Jota (jota) on Jul 19, 2010
I love the word ululate. It has that certain...onomatopoeia (another word I love).
I agree with Tom!#9: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Jul 20, 2010
I agree Liz. And a clever picture to define the word.#10: Jane Doe (telly) on Jul 21, 2010
I just tried ululating for the first time and got the strangest looks from my husband and step-son...lol! It's kinda fun. :) just like the puzzle was/is.#11: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Oct 26, 2012 [SPOILER]
