I used two pieces of logic you can put together to see a contradiction. Looking at row 9, no matter where you place the 1 clue, it causes you to fill in the 2 clue in row 10. The corollary to this is that if you place the 2 clue in row 10, the 1 clue in row 9 must be above the placed 2 clue.#8: Jota (jota) on Jul 12, 2010
Knowing this, lets look at placing the 2 clue on the left side in row 10. This causes R9C5 and R11C4 to be red and R11C5 to be a dot. This contradicts row 11. So the 2 clue must go on the right side. It solves easily from there.
