Puzzle Description:

I doubt this map of the US would make Geradus Mercator proud (as he was the first to use latitude and longitude lines on his maps), but I had fun creating and solving it. It was not quite as easy a solve as I thought it would be.

Nice.

Before I started teaching full time, I was a sub, and one of my "bag of tricks" activities for grades 4-12 involved drawing a map of the US (with state outlines) on the board, having them study atlases for a while, and then doing a geography bee where they had to fill in the names of the states. I got pretty good at drawing the US in freehand, and this looks like an excellent rendition to me!

Fun challenge.
