It's very nice.

The red, blue, and green solve out normally, but the black requires symmetry in order to solve. Nice first puzzle though.

Found to require some guessing by Gator.

I think this one could be declared "solvable with moderate lookahead"
I was able to solve the black with some two-way logic, not symmetry.

Would you describe how you did the two-way logic (preferably with row and column references)? I took a look at this again from a moderate lookahead perspective and I can't figure out what you did. Thanks!

I looked at the black, and the clue numbers. With the 3s and 2s in rows 9-12 and the 2 and 4s in Columns 10-12, the only way I saw to place the black squares was in an X pattern. I worked out from the center to complete the arms.

that makes perfect sense visually, but logically?
