Takes a little looking ahead to see how the placement of R3 affects R4, once you're stuck after line & color logic.

Cute puzzle Tom but I did guess to get the umbrella or maybe it was some sort of logic. I am not really sure!

I agree with the previous comment. It is a cute puzzle and I did have to guess to get the top.

I did some edge logic on the 5 in r2 and the 11 in r3 the first time thru. As I redid it to see where the edge logic on the 11 was needed, however, I found that other than line logic, all that is needed is color logic on the blue 4 in r9 and then edge logic on the black 5 in r2.

The color logic allows all rows from 7 down to be finished.

Then edge logic on the 5 in r2 makes r2c16 white (otherwise r3c15 must be both black and white). Then line logic to finish.

yep - agree, needed colour logic and edge logic on the 11 line. that's how i solved it. thanks
