I was actually looking for an image of an American style drinking water fountain ("bubbler" in some parts of the country), but when I was this one, I thought it would make a more interesting puzzle. Do you see the water dripping from the faucet?

They're pretty rare here, but there is one in my town, it looks nothing like this though.

It's the lamppost. The water must be turned off as there are people sitting on the railing. The water is supposed to come out of the circular things just above the sitting girls' heads.

The man with the sign is a true original. The sign says "Stop murdering us" (!), the back of the sign says his BIL shot Olof Palme (our prime minister who was murdered in the 80'ies). Anyway, he walks around with that sign every day, all year round. His wife is the woman in the gray coat, she's always with him. I've been told they live in a car parked on another square in my town, it's covered in grafitti. I guess some people find him annoying but imo he's totally harmless. His BIL might disagree though.

i drank from soda springs earlier this year - strong mineral taste and slightly salty.

I love the taste of Colorado water. Not sure I remember what the soda springs water tasted like. Sure are pretty fountains for the springs.
