i went to make a comment about the grass and you had already made one yourself

what i was going to say was that those kids must have gotten a good work out since they ran and played so hard that they destroyed the grass

Great puzzle! Kids up here have to go to school until the end of June so I won't share this image with my grandkids yet.

jennifer - you did not have to explain the grass. this puzzle is so well done with a lot of good little details. what makes this work is its excellent composition (little red schoolhouse with bell, ragged grass which is just how well-worn playgrounds should look, kids in action, swingset, tree, teacher appearing to call to the children, little boy kicking the ball). as a professional illustrator, i am always delighted to see a fun, interactive illustration - no matter the medium. i hope you will do more puzzles.

Wonderful! This one took me awhile, but I love all the detail. I always enjoy your puzzles, Jennifer. I'm going to go back and see if there's any early ones I missed.
